Human trafficking is modern day slavery. It exists in the United States and Europe as well as in third world countries like India, Thailand and Cambodia. Young girls who populate the missing person's charts in the USA are most often kidnapped and forced into prositution in massage parlors until they can be transported overseas.
Child trafficking is the most evil of all manner of human trafficking. It is estimated as the 3rd highest criminal industry in the world, next to drugs and weapons. Victims of child trafficking are beaten, raped, starved, and drugged until they are like the living dead. Rani Hong was a victim of child trafficing who was spared this fate, and who now works with government and non government organizations to fight child trafficking around the world.
In the very remote villages of India the poverty and illiteracy or so profound that many die every day from preventavle diseases, Children are left to fend for themselves for long days while their parents labor in the fields to earn enough money just to stave away starvation for one more day.
Our partners in India travel through out these very remote villages offering free medical care, immunizations against disease, health awareness instruction, literacy training, skills training, and education for the children.
Partnering in medical missions
Healing for the Nations supports the work of a medical missionary in India. Currently we are raising funds to build a medical clinic that will be centrally located where hundreds of impoverished villagers will be able to bring their sick for free medical care that cannot be provided in the villages.
Fighting human trafficking
Healing for the Natons supports a young lady from our community who is working as part of a missions team with AIM alongside nationals in Cambodia to fight child trafficking and bring needed care and healing to children who have been rescued from sexual slavery. We also aspire to network with other organizations in this goal.
